In 2009 and 2010 i joined Alexia Barrier as project manager to help her to realize the project "Sailing Around the World Monaco Female Challenge 4myplanet ".

Its commitments not to use fossil fuel, its willingness to contribute effectively to environmental challenges, its navigation skills, all the elements come together to achieve a magnificent campaign:

• From January to June 2010 Alexia Barrier sailed 20 000nm solo from Monaco to Capetown, Rio de Janeiro, Newyork, Monaco.

• She had collected more 1 milion datas for CORIOLIS GOSUD program of IFREMER and samples for Monaco's Marine LAboratory  of IAEA
• She had an educational program with all Monaco's children then folowed by more 200 school in the world. She meet children from Capetown townships and IZINVUGUVUGU association and Favelas one in Rio and Projeto Grael foundation.

   

Lionel Péan is a specialist in sailing competition. It is also committed to the "Spirit of Yachting a challenge for the Oceans" Foundation to promote sailing and access to sail for the all against motor yachts.
